Azure Reflections — A city between sky and water

At dawn, when the world is still asleep, some cities seem to breathe differently.
They whisper through the reflection of a canal, between wet cobblestones and the suspended glow of bygone days.

This photo captures a suspended moment: the calm of an empty quay, streetlamps still lit as if hesitant to fade, and that green spire piercing the clouds like a dream escaped from an old sci-fi novel.
The sky paints pastel clouds and promises of storms, while the water below plays the scene in reverse — a faithful mirror of a city you only half recognize.

On the left, two tiny silhouettes stand above the water, silent witnesses to this living tableau.
On the right, houses with an almost Asian look remind us that inspiration knows no borders. Japan, Amsterdam, or a digital dream — this landscape could belong to every world, or to none.

This is a photograph that doesn’t just capture a place: it tells of a passage.
A moment drifting between reality and imagination.
And if you listen closely, you might hear what the wind was saying that day.
